Lacked substance. Disagree that evolution is merely a theory. Do not agree that science sets out to prove the non-existence of God. I am of the opinion that evolution and God can co-exist. Nonetheless, I am still unable to accept God as my savior. Still a skeptic but still searching. Your book did not help me.
The bible is so complete and completely describes every single thing we are watching take place geopolitically. History written before it happened. Scoffers will one day be sorry. Praise Jesus in all things.
This book will not change the mind of a non believer largely because it relies heavily on the idea that the Bible is a reliable source of historical information. Can I also assume that the Greek Myths are a reliable source of historical information? Every religion has a creation story, and none of them mention dinosaurs which we know existed due to fossil evidence. Furthermore, humans are living proof of evolution, especially if you believe that we are all descended from Adam and Eve. People that live in extremely sunny locations near the equator have darker skin to protect them from overexposure to the sun, while people that live nearer to the poles have lighter skin to allow them to better absorb the vitamin D from the sun that they need for survival with limited sunlight.
Clearly I'm a skeptic, and this didn't come anywhere close to changing my mind. Perhaps if the authors provided more in depth examples of their proof, and more solid logical reasoning I word have been slightly swayed, but the faulty logic and reliance on the Bible for supporting arguments didn't succeed.
Finally, there were spelling and grammar errors riddled throughout this piece. If you're already a believer you'll likely agree with these points, if you're not you will probably not change your mind.
The basics in a nutshell, for all who want a quick overview of reasons to believe. Will lead to more study.
